Terms of use
The Japanese text is authoritative. Other languages are provided for understanding; where they differ, the Japanese governs.
1. Scope
These terms set out the conditions for using our driving theory mock test service (the Service). By using the Service you accept these terms.
2. What the Service is
The Service provides practice questions and reference material for the Japanese driving theory test. These are not the actual exam questions.
3. What we do not guarantee (important)
We do not guarantee that the questions match the real exam, that the latest changes in law are reflected, or that you will pass.
Eligibility, fees, required documents, and how the exam is run differ by prefecture and change over time. Always check with the police or licence centre of the prefecture where you live.
Text in languages other than Japanese is a reference translation to aid study. The Japanese wording is what counts in the exam and in law; where a translation and the Japanese differ, the Japanese governs.
4. Your account
You sign in through a link sent to your email address. Keeping that address secure is your responsibility.
Do not lend, transfer, or share your account.
5. Fees
The Service is provided free of charge. There are no fees.
It is paid for by advertising revenue. The Service displays third-party advertising; how that is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Please do not modify the Service in order to interfere with the display of advertising.
6. What you must not do
Copy the questions, explanations, or other content and republish, redistribute, or sell them.
Analyse or modify the Service in order to obtain paid content without authorisation.
Place excessive load on our servers, gain unauthorised access, or otherwise break the law.
7. Intellectual property
Rights in the questions, explanations, and interface text belong to us.
Road sign artwork is public-domain material from Wikimedia Commons. Statutory text comes from the e-Gov law database.
8. Changes to, or end of, the Service
We may change the content, suspend it temporarily, or stop providing it. If we stop, we will give notice in advance where we can. You can export your study record from the account screen at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for loss arising from use of the Service, except where we have acted with intent or gross negligence.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will post the updated version on this page. Using the Service after that is taken as acceptance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute will be submitted to 福岡地方裁判所 as the exclusive court of first instance.
